3

Do you accept insurance?

I don't accept insurance, but I am an out-of-network provider. That means that your insurance may cover part of my services. I provide you with a "superbill" at the end of our sessions for you to submit to your insurance. To find out how much it's covered, contact your insurance and inquire about the percentage covered for out-of-network psychotherapy.

4

How long does therapy last?

The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients may benefit from short-term therapy focused on addressing specific concerns, while others may engage in longer-term therapy to explore deeper issues and foster lasting change. Some clients choose to continue on maintenance and ongoing support beyond treatment.

5

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of therapy. Your therapist is legally and ethically bound to maintain confidentiality, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance to us.

6

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be beneficial for individuals seeking support with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, and personal growth. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, I encourage you to schedule a consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if we are a good fit.

7

What is EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)?

EMDR is a specialized therapy approach that has been proven effective in treating trauma, anxiety, phobias, and other distressing symptoms. During EMDR sessions, clients recall traumatic or distressing memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as following the therapist's hand movements or listening to alternating sounds. This process helps to reprocess traumatic memories and alleviate associated symptoms, leading to healing and resolution.

8

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, if you need to cancel a session text, call, or email me 24 hours prior to your session time. Late cancelations will be charged as a full session.
